- Locate where the vibration is coming from:
- If it is from the engine housing, then ensure that all screws are fully screwed in place. If the vibration still persists, then the engine needs assessment by a mechanic/technician as it could be an internal malfunction.
- If it is from the shaft, then it is likely that your inner cable has become twisted or bent and needs replacing. Take apart the two halves of the shaft and look down them whilst turning the strimmer head (lower), and running the engine (upper). This will tell you which half needs replacing.
